I was preparing to leave Singapore to Johor for a short getaway trip, a flurry of e-mails from my project group members flow in like running water. Feigning ignorance, across the frothy sea, under the azure blue sky, a passport check, and poof it felt like I paused the time machine, away from the buzzing lifestyle, I reached my destination.
