Frolick? Sogurt? Red Mango? wadeva you gotta love it all

Today I felt like doing some reviews of the yogurt shops that I visited in Singapore

So the more famous ones you get here locally are probably:
1) Frolick
2) Sogurt
3) Red Mango
4) Yami

1) Frolick

Noticed the hot babes squeezing your favorite yogurt choice? They have special promotions on Tuesdays (1 for 1 froyo) where I see really long stretch of queues around Tampines1 and Cine leisure. They actually sell badges of their own.
Texture: The texture of the yogurt used to be really creamy (which I don't like) and what's worse is that their yogurt melts really fast. However, my most recent purchase from Frolick, the original flavor was slightly more tarty than usual and it didn't melt that quickly.
Favorite Topping: Mochi & gummy bears

I noticed they have a pretty interesting website! I like it that they're extremely informal with their words and not offensive at the same time :) Very obvious that their target audience are people like me :D

2) Sogurt

You'll never stop hearing teenage gals screaming "AH! I SEE SOGURT!".... "HEY! I WANT TO HAVE SOGURT FOR DESSERTS!" Like really, girls go gaga over Sogurt. What makes them so special is that everything there is so princess-like and they sell self-serving yogurt. It means that we can sorta like "customize our own yogurt. From squeezing the yogurt to spamming the topics. That's so smart right? Like the gals in the store do not need to go through the hazzard of squeezing the yogurt accurately by weight, all they need to do is just weigh the yogurt, collect the money, and return the change. Yeah apart from the refilling of toppings and fresh yogurt of course! :D

Texture: They have a wide variety of flavors but I can assure you all of them is uber smooth and takes awhile to melt. However, I don't really enjoy yogurts that are milky flavored like cookies & cream or red velvet cake. I really adore those tarty ones. However, their natural flavor is really not tarty enough for my liking!
Favorite Topping: I like it that I can mix all the toppings ALL together.. Ranging from digestive biscuits to aloe vera :D

even their loyalty card is so cute

this is what I meant when I said, I like it that I can mix all the toppings ALL together

You will really like how cute their website is and how creative they can get! BTW, this is set up by a young entrepreneur named Li ping, who was 24 years old when she first started! She went on lifestyle. I really like the idea that they call the yogurt gals SOGIRLS. cutesy much?

3) Red Mango

This is the place that I am currently working in :D The special thing about them is that their located in areas that are close to all the office buildings where all the working adults are. They target those office people. Lunch hour gets really busy because of the lunch break!
Think the yogurts here are better than the ones you get in frolick and sogurt really! They're more tarty and the texture is dam good. The price is dam reasonable.
Texture: SMOOTH & TARTY

this is the favorite choice! muesli, which cost just 5 bucks!

Red Mango is all over in the globe actually! it's originated from Korea. You can get it in the states and africa too?

4) Yami Yogurt

Photobucket
this is so cute!

I've friends who are really big friends of yami yogurt. My friend told me his mum would order 2 take home pack each time she visits Yami. I was quite surprised to hear that actually because I didn't like it. I remember trying the peach and I was forcing myself to eat them. Then I found out that it's because I don't like the flavor. Their original is pretty tasty!
Texture: really not bad. haha that's all i can say!

And I find it amazing that everytime I visit their store, there's only one person there. And they can be selling four different kind of flavors each day? My shop (RM) manages 2 flavors a day btw!

Apart from all the famous yogurts, base on my own taste buds, craze over frozen yogurt these are the yogurt stalls that I always visit:

1) OIO

This is my top favorite yogurt stall! they used to have one over at century square, and I would visit them every single day. I dontknow what went wrong but they closed down, I swear I was frigging sad! I even went all the way down to united square once just to eat their yogurt cos I miss it!!

2) Sour Sally

They sell really tarty and tasty yogurts! I've a friend working there and she doesn't know the recipe HAHA DANG~I really love it. You can only find it at wisma atrium at orchard road. That's the only shop in Singapore.

3) Sour Milk

This is located at far east plaza. It's not really well known but the original yogurt taste super good! I love it. The shop is very very simple so make sure you don't judge the book by it's cover. The service there is pretty good! :)

4) JCOOL (it's the one from J.CO)
Photobucket
Yogurt and donuts are perfect combination. Doreen likes this pretty much too! These yogurts take the longest to melt, they probably have the lowest temperature?! No idea but they taste good.

5) Coffee Bean's yogurt
Photobucket
If you're judging the book by it's cover, then you're right. Coffee bean has a name to uphold, their yogurt is just as good as their chicago cheesecake. But they're a little more expenseive than the normal yogurts out there!
