Yay it was kinda exciting cos I made Vanessa do it with me :b our humongous appetite needs to maintain, and we are considering to do it once a week. I wouldn't say it's a very tough challenge, it's pretty fun actually. It all started when I flipped through my BNU (Basics of Nutrition) notes and I decided to give it a try. Like experience how these Fruitarians feel? BUT, being a full time fruitarian means you are lack a lot of essential nutrients. This was what I read from the net:
"Although fruits contain several antioxidants and vitamins, they do not contain all of the vitamins and minerals that you need to survive. Fruits do not contain vitamins D, B-12, thiamin or niacin. B-12 is only available in meat and is essential for nerve function and red blood cell production. Your body makes vitamin D naturally with sunlight, but people who live in colder climates are at risk for deficiencies and must get it through diet. Vitamin D, essential to bone health, is only available naturally in dairy, fish oils and egg yolks. Thiamin and niacin are both responsible for energy production and are only available in animal products, dried beans and grains, which are excluded from the fruitarian diet. The only exception is peanuts, which contain niacin. If you do not eat foods that contain these vitamins, you must get them through supplementation or through fortified products, such as nutritional yeast"
And this was what I ate:
Breakfast:

Dragonfruit & Papaya
Afternoon snack

Cashew nuts & Raisins
Lunch:

Apple

and Banana

then I snacked again (but I dint finish all, nuts gives you monounsaturated fats)
Dinner:

Broccoli and carrots boiled in salt water
And I checked the amount of calories I consumed it amounted to 754 KCAL. I think this is the least amount of calories I consumed for my past 18 years of life. HAHA.
Btw, these photos are edited through my iPhone. They're two different but similar applications: DECOPIC & SNAPEEE. Go download, you'll love it~
Found this on Youtube
Lastly, the recommended amount of fruits is 2-3servings a day. Make sure you feed on these fruitssssss :)
